Exclusion Prevention Program
At EK Outreach Services, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed in school. Our Exclusion Prevention Programme is designed to support students who are at risk of permanent Exclusion due to behavioural difficulties.
How We Work
Early Intervention: We work with schools and families to identify students who are struggling and may be at risk of Exclusion.
Mentors: We provide mentors who work one-on-one with students, building relationships, teaching self-regulation strategies and addressing underlying emotional and behavioural needs.
Collaboration: We collaborate with school staff, parents and other professionals to create a supportive and consistent environment for the student.
Transition Support: We provide support to help students transition back into their mainstream setting or an alternative setting. This support can be short term (up to 6 weeks) or long term, where students are re-engaging within a specific educational year.

We have a proven track record of success in preventing Permanent Exclusions. Our mentors have supported students to overcome their challenges, stay in school and achieve their full potential.
